Producing High Quality Punches and Dies Ensures a High Level of Long Life

With around 1000 orders in progress at any one time, AW Precision Ltd has every justification for claiming to be one of Europe's leading manufacturers of punches and dies for press tooling.

The ISO 9000 accredited company, which employs 110 people at its 50,000ft2 European Manufacturing site based in Rugby U.K. has now expanded manufacturing and sales into the North American Market with AW Precision LLC based in Greendale Wisconsin. Results of continual investment programme can be seen throughout the factory, from the latest CNC turning, milling, grinding and EDM Machine tools to a computerised, fully documented Vacuum heat treatment process in house.

Latest capital investment projects include CMM inspection, 5 axis milling, hard turning and upset forging for punch blank manufacture, as well as automated (robot based) form grinding and Wire EDM.

Production is complemented by cell and team based working practices and their highly skilled work force both in Europe and the USA boast high level of experience and expertise, in excess of 80% of skilled workers have been trained internally.

New products will be featured in AW Precision's latest punch and die catalogue, which is due for publication in November this year, and will be followed by 3D Design/spec it CD Rom.

It is AW Precision's aim to attain recognition as one of the worlds leading manufacturer of standard, special punches and dies for the press tool and metal stamping industry.
