The Company: Market leading precision engineering company operating out of a modern purpose-built factory.
The role:
To purchase all required goods and services to support the effective operation of the plant. This will be carried out by identifying the most effective and lowest economic cost supplies available; utilising modern procurement and sourcing techniques and management tools in order to maximize business profit. The job holder will also be responsible for coordinating with the Production and Stores personnel and operation and assisting with producing estimates.
Key attributes
The successful applicant must have excellent attention to detail, have a good understanding of basic engineering and a need for an effective quality system.
Computer literate with MS Office experience. SAGE 200 / MMS would be an advantage but not required as full training will be given
Salary is negotiable according to experience.
